OUR STORY Since 1986 the Durham Down Syndrome Association DDSA has acted as a resource for health education and support to improve the lives of Durham residents who live with Down syndrome. Families in Durham Region saw a need to provide a forum for the full and free discussion by all persons concerned with Down syndrome including but UPCOMING EVENTS PROGRAMS FREE TO DDSA MEMBERS EDUCATOR PACKAGE A guide to inclusive education for students with Down syndrome The Canadian Down Syndrome Society has put together this resource to assist educators and parents in their journey towards a fully inclusive classroom. If this is your first time working with a student with differing abilities you are going to experience the satisfaction of teaching ABOUT DDSA The Durham Down Syndrome Association DDSA is a nonprofit registered charity whose aim is to build a supportive inclusive community and act as a health and educational resource for people with Down syndrome and their families.
