The Deep River Library (W.B.Lewis Library) does a marvellous job of collecting, interpreting and sharing historical knowledge of Deep River and area. https://www.deepriverlibrary.ca/local-history/ Our own Jim Ungrin (Artifacts chair) has collated a lot of material in the “Keys Reports on the Village and Staffing Notes 1947 April-1959 December”. Dr. David Keys wrote a bi-monthly or sometimes quarterly progress report, initially to NRC Head Office and, after 1952, to AECL Head Office on operations at Chalk River and Deep River.
