Time for more of this beautiful peregrine falcon's story! When this falcon was first spotted last summer, the finder knew that something wasn't right. They snapped a photo (top left) and got in touch to ask about what they were seeing. Their quick thinking saved a life! On arrival (bottom left) this bird was dehydrated and painful and a wound was visible on the underside of the right wrist. X-ray pictures revealed that the wing was broken; we covered that part of the tale and shared the x-ray in a previous post so be sure to check our page for that! Now that the weather is improving this lovely falcon is really stretching and exercising in preparation to return home to the wild! The recent photo (right) captures the strength and confidence that will be needed for a successful return home!
