Give someone a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach someone to fish and you feed them for a lifetime. But it is not until you take the time to sit and eat the fish with them that you truly begin to understand who they are and the challenges that they have faced in life. The above has long been the philosophy of our founder, Vince Vetro. Day 4 of our official launch in Guatemala had the team sharing a meal with some of our loan recipients.  It is in these moments that these women truly feel seen, some for the first time in their lives. It is an honour to share a meal with them  (fb)
