Over 500 species identified. 55 community member, 24 expert, 15 volunteers participants. Our 2nd ever Bioblitz last month was a great success despite a stormy saturday afternoon! Haliburton Highlands Land Trust Protecting the land we love for future generations Protecting The Land We Love For Future Generations Protecting The Land We Love For Future Generations Our Mission Conserving the lands and waters of Haliburton County As the local land trust for Haliburton County we focus on the protection of nature through land acquisition stewardship research and education. We own manage and protect over 1200 acres of donated land with two of our properties Dahl ForestandBarnum Creek Nature Reserve being open to the public. NOTICE Dahl Forest and Barnum Creek properties are closed until further notice. There are trees blocking the trails.
