The “dog days of summer” were enjoyed by Carleen & ‘Marley’ out in Algonquin Patk, ON this past week. Swimming, canoeing, trail hiking & taking in all the tranquility that this beautiful park has to offer. We all need to sometimes unplug, relax, breathe & appreciate the beauty around us. Out in Wilmont, NS, 2 of our certified service dogs Jacob & Goofy, were wandering through a garden nursury, doing some expert training with ‘Quinn’ & her teammate Shawna. ‘Jacob’ & ‘Quinn’ were considering if ‘Goofy’ had the best idea to take in a few minutes of a nap before deciding where to venture next. In certain instances we will consider candidates with privately owned dogs for inclusion within our PTSD medical service dog program. ABOUT US CITADEL CANINE SOCIETY is a Canada Revenue Agency registered charity that trains and delivers PTSD medical service dogs to new Military Veterans and First Responders. We provide these wonderful dogs at no charge to the recipients.
