- Government Services: Referrals to government and community services, help with form filling for government applications (SIN, health card, child benefits, childcare subsidy, subsidized housing, and Ontario Works), and assistance in restoring lost or stolen documents.
- Language Training: Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) in English, facilitated in collaboration with external partners.
- Employment and Tax Services: Information and referral to employment services and seasonal income tax clinics.
- Translation and Interpretation: Providing translation and interpretation services to support newcomers in communication.
Recognition and Impact
CUIAS has made a notable impact by providing essential services to over 32,000 Ukrainians seeking refuge in Canada through initiatives like the Airport Reception Project. The organization's dedication to inclusivity ensures that services are accessible in multiple languages, including English, French, Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, and Romanian.
