🎹 Last weekend, we celebrated Piano Day—the 88th day of the year—with four community concerts across Calgary! More than 35 students (ages 5–25!) from the School of Creative and Performing Arts, Mount Royal University Conservatory, ARMTA Calgary, and our Keys for Newcomers program shared their music in spaces like the Alberta Children's Hospital, Calgary Public Central Library, and Brookfield Residential YMCA at Seton. Plus, these hard-working pianists helped kick of Piano 325 at Studio Bell, the home of the National Music Centre—a special exhibition marking 2025 as the 325th anniversary of the piano. From historic pianos to once-in-a-lifetime moments, over 3,000 music lovers and passersby experienced the joy and power of piano music in their own communities.
