Earlier this month, we celebrated Father’s Day across our centres. Today we are sharing highlights from our Integricare Ashfield, Blacktown and Parramatta communities. These centres (and many others) came to life with joy, laughter, and gratitude as we honoured the special role dads and those who step into that role play in children’s lives. Families gathered to share food, play games, and join in hands-on learning experiences. Children and their dads, papa’s, pops, grandads, and role models worked side by side on creative activities, solved playful challenges, and enjoyed simply being together. At Integricare Parramatta, the centre recently came together to celebrate R U OK? Day, a national reminder to stay connected and check in with those around us. Educators and children brightened the centre in yellow, sparking conversations about kindness, wellbeing, and how important it is to look after ourselves and each other. Staff shared a beautiful afternoon tea, while children enjoyed activities designed to open up meaningful conversations. The books at story time also encouraged visual learning about feelings and strategies. For children, days like this help them build early awareness of empathy, friendship, and the importance of talking about feelings. For educators, it’s a chance to strengthen relationships with one another, model positive mental health practices, and create a culture of support in the learning environment. It was a wonderful way to remind that even small moments of connection can make a big difference. Exceptional learning and care Equipping and caring for families Our Mission Early Learning Centres Long Day Care and Preschool together Our early learning centres offer 11 hours of long day care for children with some centres offering to enrol toddlers from six weeks of age. Our Transition To School programs are the same as those offered in our preschools allowing your child to stay within the same environment throughout their early education experience. Preschools Integricare preschool programs are designed to ensure your child is ready for their transition to school. Our specialised programs are offered from day one run by expert educators who able to identify and address the learning needs of each individual child.
