Concertante Ensemble presentsNordic FiddlersAvoca Beach Theatreon 10th December at 330pm Join us for a joyful and somewhat rambunctious tour of a classical take on Nordic fiddling. Bruch interprets Swedishfolk songs Rautavaara and Pehr Nordgren explore Finnish fiddling with a tipple of jaloviinain hand and Grieg has a twist on Norwegian folk melodies in his iconic Holberg Suite. The twin themes are fiddle and folk but rendered on stringsas throughcomposed contemporary music.
