The AAF provides identity and access management service to the Higher Education and national research sector. The AAF is a vital part of the Australian eResearch infrastructure landscape and is identified as National Research Infrastructure. The AAF's mission is to deliver secure federated access that connects Australian teachers, students and researchers to global online resources.
