SA Premier visits the Whyalla Men's Shed On June 24, the SA Premier Peter Malinauskas visited Whyalla with the new Federal Industry Minister Tim Eyres to announce preparations for the sale of the Whyalla Steelworks. While in town, the Premier visited the Men's Shed, met with members, took a tour of the Shed, shared some light refreshments, and spoke to members about the recent developments at the Steelworks and the future that presented for the town. The Premier was very amenable, friendly and approachable, and many members took the opportunity to take a 'selfie' with the Premier. Members felt fortunate that the Premier took the time to visit the Shed and spend an hour in close company with them, answering a range of questions regarding the future of the town..
