Quality evaluation that makes a difference The Australian Evaluation Society (AES) is a member based organisation which exists to improve the theory, practice and use of evaluation. We operate a professional learning program for our sector which includes workshops, seminars, mentoring, and other professional learning activities across Australia. We run an annual week long conference for our members and the evaluation sector. We publish a quarterly peerreviewed professional journal. We provide our members with ethical and other guidelines to inform their practice. We operate a scheme to subsidise Indigenous participation in our annual conference and other member activities. We develop and provide the evaluation sector with First Nations cultural safety guidelines for evaluations We make submissions to government relevant to our members and community interests. We collaborate with related organisations.
