This morning, Frensham Junior School welcomed grandparents and special friends to Frensham Junior School for a joyful celebration of connection across generations. Students from Preschool to Year 6 shared songs and poems in Assembly, with guests joining in for the actions and music. Our visitors explored classrooms and favourite spaces across the campus, finishing the morning with shared stories and morning tea. Grandparents hold a cherished place in our community, and today was a celebration of the enduring impact they have in the lives of our students. (fb)

Yesterday, Penny Cay, Tia Thomas (Year 12), and Flo Hough and Zahra Nash (Year 7) represented IGSA at the CIS Cross Country at Sydney International Equestrian Centre. Each of the girls ran with grit and determination, placing as follows: Zahra Nash – 34th Flo Hough – 15th Tia Thomas – 19th Penny Cay – 9th With her top-10 finish, Penny now progresses to represent CIS at the NSW All Schools event – an incredible achievement! In true Frensham spirit, our Year 12 students used their down-time to mentor the younger runners, sharing insights into the psychology, strategy and science behind distance running.
