We might be coming to the end of National Skills Week, but we still have one more VET student to feature - meet Claire from CEF Orange and District! Claire is currently completing a Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology and loves getting out and about in the field, learning about all types of farm machinery and meeting a wide range of people. Claire says "The CEF funds help with my costs to travel to Wagga Wagga for TAFE training. It also helps with purchasing the necessary tools for my trade, that I use everyday." #nationalskillsweek2025 #vocationaleducation #VET (fb)

Braidwood Braidwood District Education Foundation NSW The Braidwood District Education Foundation was established to provide much needed financial assistance and support to local youth to help them achieve their post high school education training and vocation aspirations. We recognise that the cost of rural students pursuing their post high school goals is often much greater than those of their metropolitan counterparts and that sometimes these costs can be prohibitive. With this in mind Braidwood District Education Foundation fundraises throughout the year and accepts donations from local residents and businesses in order to provide financial grants to students who need an extra helping hand. The funds come directly from your local community none of it is government funded celebrating the aspirations of local youth and working to help them achieve these aspirations.
