Since 1957, the George Gray Centre has been 'Creating Opportunities' for adults with a disability, offering recreational activities, NDIS support, employment, and respite. A not-for-profit championing inclusion and empowerment for our community. We provide a day service for adults with a disability living in the Wellington Shire. We offer programs to participants based on individual needs, focusing on enhancing personal development, increasing independence and promoting community inclusion. The programs include those based on Further Education, Living Skins, Community Inclusion, Communication, Health and WellBeing, Vocational Training, Leisure Pursuits, SelfAdvocacy and Supported Employment. We assist participants, parents and carers with the planning process and provide support to participants throughout their chosen placement.
