siteheaderlogoimage height 170px OBESITY METABOLIC SYNDROME ULCERATIVE COLITIS CROHNS DISEASE Our Mission ORCA is a registered medical charity which was established with the view of trying to find a cure for many longterm diseases including Obesity and the Metabolic syndrome Ulcerative Colitis and Crohns disease. These are all currently considered by the medical profession to be incurable lifelong diseases which require lifelong therapy. Ulcerative Colitis Research At ORCA we are conducting research into novel therapy for Ulcerative Colitis with the aim of cure or induction of longterm medication free remission for this disease rather than opting for long term control of symptoms with medication which is continued indefinitely. We are currently looking for patients with active Ulcerative Colitis who would like to participate in this research and would like to bemedication free.
