Grace Collins (2025 National Rural Ambassador) has had a whirlwind weekend at Perth Royal Show, meeting the WA Rural Ambassador finalists, volunteers and Councillors. A tour of the showground proved fascinating, with a mix of educational exhibitions, machinery, history, rides and quality livestock exhibits. Highlights included: 🎆 Watching unbelievable fireworks 🐮 Being back in the ring, leading a hereford! 🍌 Checking out the Gascoyne region exhibit, guessing the weight of the banana bunch and tasting delicious chocolate covered coffee beans! 🙏 Writing one of the first and reading the Thank a Farmer messages 🛩️ Flying drone simulators at the Ag Tech exhibition 🥂 Drinks on the Councillors' balcony for the President's Opening Evening, WA RA dinner and the NextGen Sundowner 🏅 Spending time with Dr Rob Wilson and Lola Wilson 🌳 Visiting King's Park and seeing the incredible native flora Grace would like to extend her sincere thanks to ASA and RASWA for their generous hospitality.
