Formed in 1980, 102.1FM 8CCC is an outback radio station with a proud history of unique programming & regular Centralian/Barkly-inspired music. 8CCC Community Radio worked to promote and foster arts, music and culture, representing a diverse community and multicultural voice, through radio broadcast and digital media. This was achieved through our volunteer driven broadcasting on 102.1FM in Alice Springs & Tennant Creek and through partnerships with community and arts organisations supporting events and programs. 8CCC's brodcasting aimed to enrich people's lives with a diversity of programs and services that inform, educate, entertain and support the development and quality of our lives. Through School & Youth programs, NDIS & Accesible radio partnerships, Multicultural programming and volunteer support 8CCC worked to involve and service the Alice Springs and Tennant Creek communities with services, programming and content that Is not readily available in the commercial broadcasting arena and that was created by our communities.
