These are the faces from Beyond Bank that keep your data safe. Our people are always on the lookout to protect our customers. This week, our systems identified that a small group of customers had accidentally handed over their personal data, which had popped up on the dark web. Hugh, Maggie and Joseph called each impacted customer personally, guiding them through the steps to protect their data. From clicking on a dodgy link or downloading suspicious games and apps that collect data, leaks like this can potentially cause your money or identity to be stolen. What does Beyond Bank do with our old laptops and hardware? 💻📱🖥️ We donate them! Throughout the year, we partner with a variety of organisations to give our pre-loved hardware a new lease on life. This year, we’ve teamed up with Careworks - Giving Help Offering Hope, GOGO Foundation, LiteHaus International, Dooloo and RCCG New Covenant Parish Adelaide Australia, donating close to 50 laptops and mobile phones, and other peripheral technology. These devices go to administrative teams, volunteers, people at a crossroads in their lives and those who just need some reliable technology to replace theirs. For example, after CareWorks receive the laptops we donate, they repurpose their old laptops by giving them to youth clients in their Hope Street Program to make resumes, apply for services and to engage with their community.
