💜 Brunch Together for Neighbourhood Centre Week 💜 What a beautiful day to celebrate community! At our Neighbourhood Centre Week celebration our veranda area was decorated with the colour purple - the theme colour for Neighbourhood Centres Queensland. Bunting was strung up, balloons hung and special pieces of once flat, square paper were folded into beautiful Japanese cranes.🕊️ The origami paper was adorned with the Better Together 'hands' logo. The crane represents unity, hope and peace. Intertwined together, our simple paper cranes carry a strong message - strengthening community by coming together. 🤝💜 We had so many lovely guests enjoying free burgers 🍔, good company and glorious weather ☀️. A huge THANK YOU to our amazing staff and volunteers who made it all happen 🙌💐 This week we’ve shared the many ways our Neighbourhood Centre supports the community.
