🏳️‍🌈 Today marks "International Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination (IDAHOBIT) - a date in 1990 that homosexuality was removed from the WHO Classification of Diseases. Over three decades later, LGBTQIA+ communities still face discrimination – but every one of us can make a difference. Carers Queensland recognises this special day by celebrating people with disability, carers, and staff in the Rainbow communities, raising awareness and working towards ending discrimination. 🙌 We are proud to hold the Rainbow Tick Accreditation - a framework designed to support organisations to improve the quality of services they provide to LGBTQIA+ clients and employees.
