“I loved the Giving Kitchen activity – it was so great to catch up with friends while at the same time volunteering and doing something good for the community.” On Sunday our Young Achievers Program mentees and mentors joined together at the Chabad Malvern Giving Kitchen. Almost 50 participants donned their aprons to cook up a storm – and in a lovely ‘full-circle’ coincidence, the meals will be distributed to community members supported by Jewish Care’s Social Services programs. “The volunteering event is a highlight of the Young Achievers calendar – it’s a great opportunity not only for our matches to get to know each other better, but to see first-hand the incredible work that goes on in our community and have the chance to play a part in that,” said Young Achievers Coordinator Chanie Belfer.
