Our new Community Impact & Engagement Manager, Mark Ludbrooke has been busy on the road at our Fresh Produce Pop-Ups and meeting some of the amazing community partners we work with every day, helping us provide food and support to those who need it most. The Foodbank NSW & ACT team is still riding high from last week’s Giving Day! 💜 We set out with a goal to send 10,000 food hampers to 10,000 households in NSW & the ACT. And so far, over 19,300 hampers have been gifted! The generosity we've seen from people has been so incredible that we increased our target to reach a bold 20,000. To everyone who donated, shared and supported us, thank you. To the ALAND Foundation and the group of generous donors, who matched $150,000 of donations, thank you. To our incredible staff, volunteers, and team at Donor Republic who worked tirelessly, behind the scenes in bringing this day to life, answering phones, thank you. We’re also incredibly grateful to ALAND Foundation and Westpac for rolling up their sleeves and packing an incredible 840 Christmas hampers on the day, your support made a real difference.
