ROUND SQUARE// The Round Square International Conference has kicked off in Dubai. On their first night, the students ventured out to the sand dunes and got to experience a beautiful evening under the stars with camel rides, fireworks and traditional performances. A wonderful welcome! The opening ceremony began with a spectacular show of song and dance whilst learning what it truly means to be a global citizen and the values of Round Square. On Environmentalism Day, there were climate change workshops throughout the morning where students explored the cause and effect of human activity. The afternoon session was more hands-on, including a including a scavenger hunt at Aventura Park, to learn about the different aspects of the ecosystem in the vicinity. The evening ended with a cultural display of environmentalism shown through dance and song. Students are looking forward to Service Day tomorrow. #WeAreBarkern #RoundSquareSchool (fb)
