Local kids missing out on Camp Creative Scholarships! Numbers for Camp Creative 2026 are going gangbusters — well ahead of last year’s enrolments — but organisers have hit an unexpected snag. We have 10 student scholarships available, thanks to a donation from @bcubanking. Each scholarship covers enrolment, lunches and materials for the week-long event in January. The problem? Hardly anyone has applied. “We know many families are doing it tough right now,” said Camp Creative President Bob Stockton. “These scholarships are here to make sure cost isn’t the thing that stops a young person from coming along. All they have to do is apply — we can’t make it any easier.” To give students more time, the scholarship deadline has been extended until the 20th of October. All schools in the Bellingen Shire have details, and information is also available at campcreative.com.au/scholarships.
