Based in the longstanding history of Keep Australia Beautiful established by Dame Phyllis Frost in 1968 we continue the legacy of more than 50 years experience in engaging Australians to care for their local environments. Through community engagement partnerships education and empowerment we work towards a litter free and sustainable Queensland inspiring action to help Queenslanders face their most pressing environmental challenges. Celebrating the achievements ofQueenslands regional communities The Sustainable Communities Awards Program rewards and promotes projects that prevent or reduce litter encourage environmental innovation showcase circular economy initiatives promote heritage and culture and raise awareness in environmental sustainability through communication and engagement.
