⚖️ Exploring the Australian Constitution 📚 The Year 12 Legal Studies class and Year 11 Politics class were fortunate to have Guest Lecturer Cornelia Koch, an experienced Constitutional and Public Law lecturer from Adelaide University Law School, come to give a workshop on Constitutional Law focusing specifically on the referendum process. It was an engaging workshop where students were asked to consider the effectiveness of Section 128 of the Australian Constitution and were invited to consider altering differing mechanisms of the process to enhance the effectiveness of referendums in Australia.
