We held our annual conference in July 2022 (in Melbourne and online). We also held other online webinars for legal, academic and other charity and NFP practitioners (Attorney General v Family First New Zealand [2022] NZSC 80: Implications for advocacy by charities and the Charities Act in July 2022; and What does a WorldLeading Framework of Charities Law Look Like? Reflections on New Zealand Charities Law Reform in May 2022). CLAANZ also held its annual lecture in partnership with the Law Council of Australia Legal Practice Section's Charities and NotforProfit Committee on 12 December 2022, along with an associated workshop. News 2025 CLAANZ Annual Conference 28 29 July 2025Victorian Bar Melbourne and online Read more and register We are delighted to announce that the 2025CLAANZ Annual Conference will be held over one and a halfdays on 28and 29July at the Victorian Bar Owen Dixon Chambers East Level 5 205 William Street Melbourne as well as streamed online. The ACNC Regulators Day will follow on 30 July in Melbourne and online. The conference will explore contemporary issues in charity law with a focus on charities in Australia and New Zealand.
