A group of Year 5 students — Ivy, Amanda, Emma, Jacinta, Charlene, Claire, Eloise and Aria — have recreated the Joan Montgomery Centre in Minecraft, working to make it as realistic as possible. From architectural details to adding NPCs (non-player characters) such as swimming coaches, their digital build brings the Centre to life. Last Thursday, more than 170 Senior School students performed in our 2025 Spring Concert. Before the concert, students gathered for a BBQ hosted by the Friends of Music School, then shared a wonderful evening of music with an audience of over 400. Performances included Voiceworks, Year 12 Quartet, L’Oiseau Lyre, Senior Percussion Ensemble, String Orchestra, Intermediate Strings and Chamber Strings. Thank you to our community for supporting this much-loved annual event, and to our students and staff for their thoughtful preparation and beautifully presented performances. (fb)
