The Mareeba Heritage Museum and Visitor Information Centre is your entry to our beautiful region. The Mareeba Heritage Museum (MHC) colocated with the VIC was established in 1995 for the purpose of recording and displaying the heritage of the Mareeba District. The Museum is well supported by its diverse multicultural community and has a collection of over 8000 objects owned, used and proudly donated by members of the community. These objects form the basis of its comprehensive exhibits which reflect the heritage and culture of Mareeba and its district.
