💙 This Father’s Day we give thanks to God for dads, granddads, father-figures, and mentors in our community. Whether by guiding, encouraging, or simply being present, your love and care point us to our Heavenly Father. We also recognise that Father’s Day can be a hard day - for those who grieve, those who long to be dads, and those with complicated family relationships, we hold you in our prayers today. This morning in the kids spot, our kids wrote down things they love about their dads on post-it notes 💛 - a sweet reminder of the everyday ways dads make a difference. Pray with us - "Ancient of Days, You are the Alpha and Omega. You were there before the beginning, and you will be there after the end. Thank you that you work all things for the good of those who love you, and that while we may make plans, it is you who establishes our steps. We pray for the St Matt’s staff team as they make 2026 ministry plans for our church on Sept 8-9. May the plans they make be bold, wise, Christ-glorifying and sensitive to the guidance of your Holy Spirit.
