We’ve got some exciting news to share! Respect will soon take on ownership of seven aged care homes and four co-located retirement villages in Queensland – currently run by fellow not-for-profit provider BlueCare. This will establish our presence in the state for the very first time! The homes and villages are spread across regional Queensland, in communities including Emerald, Gracemere, Hervey Bay, Ingham, Maleny, Mareeba and Toogoolawah. BlueCare chose us to continue their impactful work in these communities, citing our strong values alignment and commitment to build on the unique, local legacy of each home and village. For us, we feel privileged to have been entrusted with these homes and villages, and the services they provide to older people living in regional Queensland. We look forward to bringing our mission and values to a whole new state, all while welcoming several new communities to our Respect family! (fb)
