Across nearly five decades, Greg’s journey from classroom teacher to Executive Director of Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta saw him become a nationally and globally recognised voice for innovation, equity, and the future of schooling. His leadership was marked by courage, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to inclusion and social justice. From being named one of the Top 100 Global Innovators in Education, to receiving the Order of Australia in 2018, and being awarded a Papal Knighthood (Knight of the Order of St Gregory the Great), Greg’s accolades reflect his profound impact.
