Earlier this week, Lismore Branch Manager Jonathon attended a two-day clinic hosted by Cancer Council NSW, which aimed to support individuals and families affected by cancer by providing them with the financial and legal resources necessary to navigate the overwhelming challenges that come with a diagnosis. ❤️ Thanks to a recent grant from our Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation, the clinic featured educational group sessions on Wills and Powers of Attorney led by experienced lawyers, while Financial Capability Workers provided practical budgeting advice and personalised assistance. 💬 Cancer Council Liaisons and Information and Support professionals were also on hand to offer emotional support, share vital information, and connect attendees with other valuable services. Another clinic will be held in Coffs Harbour later this year to provide even more people impacted by cancer with the support they need. 🙌 (fb)
