We're thrilled to be returning to the Bondi Pavilion this week to present Mozart's The Magic Flute. Step into a world of enchantment and mystery with Mozart's timeless opera. A spellbinding blend of comedy, romance, and adventure, this masterpiece transports audiences to a fantastical realm where good battles evil, and wisdom triumphs over ignorance. Directed by Cath Dadd and conducted by Luke Spicer, join the Pacific Opera Studio 2025 Young Artists for two nights only. The Magic Flute will be presented as a 'Pocket Opera' and will run for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. This work will be sung in German with dialogue in English. Home About Us Support Whatx27s On Contact Us More Pacific Opera Studio has been preparing and developing the next generation of Australian opera singers since 2003. With over 300 participants since its inception Pacific Opera Studio has a proud history of training singers who go on to professional work in Australia Internationally. Pacific Opera Studio bridges the gap between tertiary education and gaining professional work within an opera company. Led by Artistic Directors Peter ColemanWright AO and Cheryl Barker AO the program has grown to include concerts recitals oratorio masterclasses and performing roles in fully staged works.
