ABOUT US PROGRAMS SCIENCE NEWS More TO CHANGE THE WORLD39S ATTITUDE TO PLASTICWITHIN A GENERATION Every Year Every Minute Every Day Only One Plastic Oceans Australasia works to change the world39s attitude to plastic within a generation. Our work helps to restore the health of our oceans and protect marine life by urgently eliminating plastic waste and other toxins from waterways. Plastic Oceans Australasia POA is contributing to the agenda for Australias UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. POA is an official partner of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission UNESCOIOC initiative joining the global ocean science community to ensure that scientific evidence and research can support actions to sustainably manage oceans and achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
