COTA SA is an older people's movement run by, for and with older people. Creating new images and expectations, boldly reframing the way we age. #reframingageing COTA SA is an older people's movement run by, for and with older people. We represent the aspirations, interests and rights of older South Australians. Created opportunities for seniors to be more confidently and effectively involved in their communities through the provision of services and programs to benefit the well being of older people with respect to relieving poverty, isolation, distress or Illness; programs included: Maximising my independence at home and in the community Strength for life promoting health and well being amongst people over 50 and 40 for Aboriginal or Torres strait Islanders. Aged Care support in regional SA Silver Rainbow Training Engaging with older South Australians from the LGBTIQ community to better inform policy Aged Care Navigator Scheme trial testing in specified areas to learn more about Government supported Aged Care programs Aged Care Directive Awareness Community Visitors Scheme providing volunteers to older people at rick of loneliness or social isolation Social connections program Building a Plugin community connecting older people with business, industry and research
