Our partner, Hosanna Ministries in India, provides literacy support to women, helping them to learn reading and writing for their daily tasks. Recently, an entire class of ten women passed the written examination! They can now read, write, and sign their names when necessary. This newfound confidence allows them to handle cash transactions in the market, as they can count numbers and perform addition and subtraction. Learning to read and write empowers these women to dream of a brighter future. (fb)
