We’re thrilled to reveal the full program for REGIONALITY SUNSHINE COAST 2025, a one-day industry event for documentary and factual practitioners presented by AIDC and Screen Queensland with the support of Sunshine Coast Council, in association with Sunshine Coast Screen Collective ☀️ Leading the program is the international team behind the 2025 Oscar®-nominated documentary, ‘Porcelain War’ - co-directors Brendan Bollomo (USA) and Slava Leontyev (Ukraine), and Australian producer Camilla Mazzaferro. Other speakers and guests include some of Australia’s finest and most innovative nonfiction creators and producers, like Dean Gibson (Bacon Factory Films, 'First Weapons'), Veronica Fury (WildBear Entertainment, 'Joh: Last King of Queensland'), Ivan O’Mahoney (In Films, 'Unbreakable - The Jelena Dokic Story'), and John Harvey ('Atomic Paradise'). The program will also feature appearances by Screen Australia Head of Documentary Richard Huddleston, Changer Studios co-founder Farhad Meher–Homji, writer and director Jo-Anne Brechin ('Miss Ink'), independent vertical producer Kate Boylan-Ascione ('Why So Disruptive?'), Yale MacGillivray (INDESIGN), Barbara Ibuai ('Testimony'), Patrick Abboud (Only Human & Dreamchaser, 'Gayrabia'), and Paul Wiegard (Co-founder & CEO, Madman Films), plus all decision makers previously announced.
