The Australian National Eisteddfod is an organisation built on a commitment to encouraging and fostering the pursuit of excellence in performance, music and drama. The charity provided a range of artistic activities beneficial to the community, through advancing arts and culture. In particular an eisteddfod was held comprised of four divisions bands and orchestras, piano, singing and speech and drama. Through opportunities in these areas individuals and groups were able to perform and learn from the experience in ways transferable to many life events.
