We established a retail space to promote and sell our communities art as well as running regular exhibitions. 2. We set up YAVA out and about. This initiative links local wineries with local artists in providing a YAVA curated cellar door space to cross promote the Yarra Valley as a cultural as well as food and wine destination. 3. We ran a Youth Mentoring Program which immersed local young people in the activities of running an art organization. A mix of training and hands on experience in all aspects of gallery management the participants gained valuable industry experience and confidence.
