HICES MUSIC FESTIVAL // Last week, five of our talented musicians, Adam P., Lila A., Slohne W., Jay L. and Lachie T., travelled to Stanwell Tops to take part in the HICES Music Festival camp. Over three days, our students rehearsed intensively with their ensembles before performing in the grand concert at Sydney Town Hall. Adam played with the Wind Ensemble, while Lila, Slohne, Jay and Lachie all performed in the Concert Band. Conducted by leading music specialists – including the renowned Guy Noble OAM – and joined by over 430 students from 38 schools, this festival gave our students the chance to make new friends, collaborate, and further develop musical skills. STUDENT SUCCESS // We are thrilled to share that Abigail M., Year 12, photograph, 'The Stairs,' has been awarded 1st Place (Secondary) in the 2025 Association of Independent Schools of NSW Student Art Competition. This year's theme was 'Teachers: Empowering Every Student to Shine.'
