🌈 Today, we fly the rainbow flag for IDAHOBIT — International Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination. 🌈 🫶 Intereach and our longtime team member Emma, who has just been appointed Inclusion and Engagement Coordinator, proudly stand with our LGBTQIA+ community. That includes Emma’s daughter Ashlyn, who came out as transgender in 2021. 💬 “Ashlyn is a remarkable young woman who shows love and empathy to everyone she meets,” Emma said. “I'm proud to be her mum and ally.” 💬For Ashlyn: “IDAHOBIT reminds us we’re not alone and is an opportunity for allies to further educate themselves on how to best support us. At Intereach, we’re proud to stand with and support our LGBTQIA+ community, including the 5% of our staff who identify as part of it. To mark the day, we’re hosting a special webinar with delsi Moleta from the Victorian Pride Centre, sharing insights on inclusion and allyship.
