The Relationships Australia National Council recently visited Canberra for a two-day meeting, bringing together Board Chairs, Chief Executive Officers, and National Managers to reflect on the federation’s strategic horizon. As part of the visit, members took part in a cultural immersion experience led by Jahmarl and Bradley from Bagariin Cultural Consulting, with a focus on traditional Ngunnawal and Wiradjuri history, culture, and ceremony. We’re incredibly grateful to Jahmarl and Bradley for not only welcoming the Council, but for grounding the group in truth-telling, respectful engagement, and deep listening. The day began with a traditional Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, followed by a rich Yarning Circle that created space for connection, reflection, and relational learning. 💙 (fb)

Riverina Family Law Pathways Network had the pleasure of hosting the Tough Tells Series, led by Darren Mort — Family Law Barrister, Mediator, Writer and Founder of To Be Loved — and Vincent Papaleo, Director and Clinical Psychologist at Vincent Papaleo & Associates. The Tough Tells Series uses short, powerful films like Mille and Tommy the Tiger to give voice to children impacted by family breakdown and domestic violence. Through storytelling, the series helps professionals better understand and support young people navigating trauma, separation and change — highlighting the importance of love, safety and connection in every child’s journey. 💙 (fb)
