The Society holds many lovely portraits by the famous artist Oscar Friström. Friström is Swedish by birth but moved to Brisbane later in life in 1884. This one is of Tom Petrie, the son of Andrew Petrie. Friström is known for his compassionate and thoughtful portraits of his subjects regardless of their background.
