Buddhist Vihara Victoria was first established in Noble Park in 1993 by the late Venerable Gangodawila Soma Thero. The organization relocated to its current premises in Berwick in 2002. Despite the mention of establishment in 1994 in some sources, the organization was initially set up in 1993[3][5].
