We had a great afternoon at the youth outreach at Rosemeadow. The kids had a blast boxing, playing basketball and running relay races. Such an amazing initiative for the local kids, thanks to Uncle Dave and all involved in organising this. 💙 (fb)

🌟🌟🌟We are very proud to announce that we will be starting our new project “BRIGHTSIDE BAGS”. 🌟🌟🌟 Brightside bags are for primary aged students living in emergency accommodation. Some are there because they have lost their home in a fire, some are there due to family violence, out of home care needs and homelessness. As you can imagine, having children in a hotel can be difficult at the best of times but when trauma and displacement are added to the mix this can be a real challenge. We know we can’t change the circumstances for these kids but we can give them something to occupy themselves, something to let them know we are all behind them. 🌟🌟🌟 OUR GOAL 🌟🌟🌟 We want Brightside Bags in every public primary school in the Campbelltown LGA ( don’t worry we will branch out to other areas 😊). When that child turns up at school, even if it’s not their regular school, the student is given this bag to take with them as there may not be another opportunity to give it to them. These bags were unfortunately inspired by the fact that we were not prepared! We had nothing to give at that moment, we went to Kmart that night to grab some things and when we returned to see the kids they had left and we never saw them again. We were so annoyed at ourselves for not being prepared- so here we are! Thank you to Wests Group Macarthur and Campbelltown City Council, NSW for this opportunity.
