Join our facebook group too - https://www.facebook.com/groups/smartlivingballarat We acted as lead partner organisation for the Grampians Community Power Hub project, delivered by Sustainability Victoria, with Hepburn Wind as our Hepburn branch partner. This project engaged with 50+ community organisations across the 11 shires of the Grampians region, identifying/assessing the viability of 46 renewable energy projects and implementing 6 projects equating to 100+kWs in energy value; We continued to run 'Smart Living Ballarat', a series of monthly presentations passing on knowledge, skills and reference contacts for sustainable living, as well as 'Ballarat Green Drinks', the local branch of the international network, and a regular social event for those interested in environmental sustainability; We concluded the Grampians Renewable Energy Program, implementing environmental projects across the Grampians Region (in partnership with the Department of Environment, Land, Water & Planning, 'DELWP') a total energy value of 384.16kW and 27.6kWh cutting GHG emissions and energy bills for not for profits; We operated in various 'sustainable living' fields through our constituent groups, Ballarat Tool Library, Ballarat Repair Cafe and Buninyong Boomerang Bags.
