The Community Information Centre is a not for profit, community based information & referral service, assisting the public of Townsville & visitors to the region to access community supports, recreational & learning opportunities, & information services. Provided face to face referrals to community supports and services Engaged in community events and pop ups Delivered 4 Together Townsville events designed to untie and inspire business and community sectors to work together. 8 workshops and a mentorship program. Recorded 50 podcasts on every day people in the community who have faced adversity and highlighted what services they used during that time. Developed a networking event called Together Townsville networks that occurs monthly Continued to managed the 5 online resource directories, learning links program, publications and new residents packs
